Everton have reportedly checked up on the Newcastle United winger, along with rivals Liverpool and both Manchester clubs.

Everton are one of several Premier League clubs to have scouted Newcastle United youngster Owen Gallacher over the past two weeks, the Sunday People reports (05/03, p48).
The Toffees have added a number of Football League talents to their ranks this season, with two of them, Ademola Lookman and Dominic Calvert-Lewin, forcing their way into Ronald Koeman’s plans already.
And it appears the Merseyside club are not ready to stop there, with Gallacher reportedly in their sights.
Though yet to break into Rafa Benitez’s first-team plans, the 17-year-old has been a regular for Newcastle’s Premier League 2 side and his form is said to have prompted Everton, along with rivals Liverpool and Manchester clubs United and City, to take a closer.
Gallacher, whose father John also played as a winger for Newcastle, between 1989 and 1992, is the great-nephew of former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson, which could move the Red Devils to the front of the queue should the Scotland Under-19 international opt to leave St James’ Park.

However, Everton’s handling of young talents like John Stones, now of Manchester City, Ross Barkley and Mason Holgate in recent years is sure to appeal to Gallacher.
Would Everton be a good move for the Newcastle United youngster?
