The Huddersfield Town loanee is said to be attracting the interest of Watford.

According to a report from the Watford Observer, the Hornets are interested in signing Huddersfield Town player Elias Kachunga this summer.

The striker-cum-winger is currently on loan at the Tykes from German side Ingolstadt and he is enjoying a fine campaign in England, scoring 10 goals so far this season.

In part due to Kuchunga’s efforts, Huddersfield are flying high in the Championship and currently sit third with 61 points form 31 matches.

That means they are only four points below the automatic promotion places and assuming they reach the top flight Kachunga is expected to complete a permanent move to the Kirklees Stadium.

However, if Huddersfield fall short, Watford are said to be keen to bring the 24-year-old to Vicarage Road and it will be interesting to see how this one plays out.

Watford could certainly do with additional goal-scorers yet there is said to be plenty of competition for Kuchunga’s signature and he will have a big decision to make even if his loan club do not have something to celebrate come May.
