Newcastle United forward Dwight Gayle is set to return from injury against Norwich City.

Rafael Benitez has told the Shields Gazette that Newcastle United striker Dwight Gayle has been brilliant in training.
Gayle is set to make his return from injury later this evening, when Newcastle take on Norwich City later this evening.
The clinical forward has been out since January with a hamstring problem, but he has been back in training recently.
And Benitez has been very impressed by the 25-year-old’s form on the training ground.
Rafael Benitez confirms good news for Newcastle at his latest press conference
“He’s in the squad, and we have to see,” Benitez said. “We will see how he feels and then we will decide.
“He is fully ready. He has been training all week and doing everything.
“When you have a player coming back, then you have to be sure that his sprints, change of direction, shooting are all OK and he has been doing everything.
“He’s fine and his training sessions have been brilliant.”
Whether Gayle will start for Newcastle this evening remains to be seen, as Benitez may want to ease the former Crystal Palace man back into first-team action.
Gayle is vital to Newcastle’s promotion chances, as he is their leading goalscorer by a considerable distance this campaign.

Gayle has netted 20 goals already this season, and his return is a major boost to Benitez’s men.
If Newcastle are able to beat Norwich this evening, they would considerably strengthen their chances of finishing in the top two.
