Leeds United have three players currently on trial.

The transfer window may be closed but Leeds United are still looking at recruiting.

The Whites sent an under-23 squad to face Irish side Shamrock Rovers for a friendly clash yesterday, and included three trialists on the teamsheet.

These included Aaron Splaine, Jack Boyle and Mitja Krizan. Shamrock won the game 3-1 with Eoghan Stokes netting the goal for Leeds.

So who are the the trio? Here's the lowdown on the trialists...

Jack Boyle

Boyle could be making the switch from Yorkshire rivals Huddersfield Town's academy.

The 18-year-old signed a pro deal with Huddersfield in 2015, where he had been since playing for their under-10s.

The Leeds born prospect is an attacking midfielder and a set piece specialist, who has been playing for the Terriers' under-23 side in recent months.

Aaron Splaine

Scottish midfielder Aaron Splaine is 20 and is looking to give his career a kickstart after being released by Kilmarnock last summer.

He has since been with Stranraer where he has been playing for the under-20s side.

Splaine has nine first team appearances for Kilmarnock under his belt and is a left footed central midfielder.
