Today however could mark his first appearance for the club and Forest fans will be very excited to see him partner Britt Assombalonga in attack.

Ignoring McCormack’s Villa woes, his last three seasons in the Championship have been spectacular.
He scored 48 goals in 89 Championship appearances for Fulham and in his final season with Leeds United managed 28 in 46.

Assombalonga has had to battle with a serious knee injury. Prior to that he had found the net 15 times in 29 games in his first season at the City Ground. Since his comeback he has 10 goals in 21 Championship appearances.
Villa excluded, the pair’s tally for the past three seasons combines to 101 goals in 185 games.
Nottingham Forest fans are right to be excited.
