It would be wise of Everton to tie the Englishman to a new contract. Barkley has the potential to be one of the best players in the world, and the Merseyside outfit should do their best to hold onto him.
Barkley has scored four goals and created 53 chances in 23 Premier League appearances for Everton so far this season.
Everton are seventh in the Premier League table at the moment with 41 points from 25 matches.
