A leader… Garry Monk highlights what goes unnoticed about 25-year-old Leeds United star
The former West Bromwich Albion and Leicester City striker has outlined the help given to him by Monk, who was appointed as the Leeds head coach in the summer of 2016.

Garry Monk’s response when asked about January interest in 23-year-old
“(Monk) has made a huge difference. He’s backed me through-and-through and if you get confidence from a manager it brings it out in you too.”

Wood seems to be at home at Leeds, and the Elland Road faithful are being treated to some wonderful displays from the New Zealand international striker.
Leeds are in the running for playoffs and are likely to end up in the top six of the Championship this season.
Over the past few years, the Whites had become also-rans in the Championship, but things have changed this season.
A top-two finish is not entirely out of question, but it would be best for Leeds if they focus on finishing third or fourth.
