Mauricio Pochettino has reiterated his desire to stay at Tottenham Hotspur for the long-term.
Mauricio Pochettino has told the Hampstead and Highgate Newspaper that the abundance of Tottenham Hotspur players who have signed new contracts at White Hart Lane proves very exciting times are ahead for the North London club.
A vast number of players have signed new deals at Spurs this season, including the likes of Harry Kane, Hugo Lloris and Dele Alli.

And Pochettino believes the fact that so many of Spurs’ first-team squad are signing up, is something which isn’t happening at other clubs.

“For me it’s the first time it’s happened, that in the last few months so many players have extended [their contracts] and shown their commitment. Maybe 80 per cent have shown that and want to be here long-term – it’s my first experience like this,” Pochettino said.
Spurs’ unluckiest player: Has Pochettino action put 24-year-old’s Tottenham future in doubt?
“When I look at different clubs it doesn’t happen, what’s happened here, which is very good news for us.
“It’s a very good point – to achieve big things the players need to dream and to show commitment with us.”
Tottenham certainly appear to be able to tie down their key players better than some of their London rivals.

Arsenal are struggling to keep hold of Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil, while West Ham United lost Dimitri Payet in January.
Tottenham have one of the most exciting squads in European football, given that many of their stars are still at an age when they should improve considerably before they hit their peaks.
And Pochettino insists that he loves managing at Tottenham, and cannot see himself leaving any time soon.
He said: “The important thing is that Tottenham want to give me the chance to manage here for a long time. That is the most important thing and sets the principle when you arrive here as manager, coach or player. You feel the responsibility is to work and achieve big things.”
