We take a closer look at West Bromwich Albion’s brightest prospects.

West Bromwich Albion have a few exciting players coming through the ranks right now but only the very best will ultimately become a first-team regular.

Here we take a look at three Baggies teenagers that have what it takes to be playing week in, week out by 2020:

Jonathan Leko

Predominantly a right winger but also able to pay on the opposite flank or up front, 17-year-old Jonathan Leko is one of West Brom’s brightest prospects.

He has already featured 12 times for Tony Pulis’s side but it will be a while before he is starting matches on a regular basis, instead having to make do with substitute roles as he continues to develop his game.

That said if he continues on his current trajectory he should be starting regularly by the start of the next decade.

Sam Field

Midfielder Sam Field may only be 18 but he is already tied to West Brom until 2020 and the future looks very bright for the teenager.

Just six appearances into his senior career, he looks like he could go on to become a key player for West Brom for years to come.

Rekeem Harper

An unfamiliar name to some, 16-year-old Rekeem Harper is one of the most talented teenagers on the books at The Hawthorns and while he has a very long way to go, the next three years could see him chip away at the first-team until he becomes a regular in three years.

If the attacking midfielder fulfils his potential, he will be one hell of a player for West Brom.
