The winger has shot to fame with Blackpool this season and Aston Villa face a daunting fight for his signature.
Aston Villa appear up against it in their reported pursuit of Blackpool youngster Bright Osayi-Samuel. Steve Bruce’s side not only have to challenge progressive Premier League side Everton for his signature (Sun on Sunday, 05/02, page 63), but established giants and Champions League chasers Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur, too, according to the Express
What hope do they have? The prospect of joining one of the top flight trio does not exactly guarantee Osayi-Samuel regular minutes in which to impress, but Everton, Tottenham and Arsenal all have impressive records with regards to bringing through young players.
And in Ronald Koeman, Mauricio Pochettino and Arsene Wenger, they each have managers capable of honing and improving talent.

They all appear more attractive destinations than an Aston Villa side going through something of a crisis, stuck in mid-table of the Championship and in danger of stagnating in the second tier unless substantial improvements are made on and off the pitch.
Steve Bruce’s new Aston Villa formation would be perfect for forgotten flop
Yet, the words and actions of a new Villa signing, 17-year-old Bury defender Jacob Bedeau, could give Osayi-Samuel (below), just two years his senior, some food for thought.

“This is such a massive opportunity for me at such a young age,” the teenager said in quotes reported by the Daily Star. “I’m looking forward to taking that opportunity and developing even more at such a big club.”
The Birmingham Mail add that Bedeau turned down Manchester United and Liverpool to move to Villa, such was his desire to earn regular first-team football and not get lost in the system like so many talented youngsters.

Therefore, could his mind-set encourage Osayi-Samuel to make a similar decision? Maybe it should.
