Everton and West Bromwich Albion are reportedly keen on Hull City’s Abel Hernandez.
The agent of Hull City striker Abel Hernandez has told Tutto Mercato Web that Everton and West Bromwich Albion both want to sign him this summer.
Hernandez, 26, impressed in his native Uruguay with Central Espanol and Penarol, earning a move to Italy with Palermo in 2009.
The striker hit 36 goals in 122 games for the Serie A side, and his displays triggered interest from Hull City, who swooped to sign him in the summer of 2014.

Hernandez has starred for the Tigers ever since his move, scoring 30 goals in 92 appearances, including 20 league goals last season as Hull won promotion from the Championship.

A Uruguayan international with 11 goals in 27 games for his country, Hernandez appears to be attracting interest, with Tutto Mercato Web reporting during last month’s transfer window that Chinese side Changchun Yatai were keen on a €12million (£10.25miillion) move.

That deal didn’t go through, and Changchun Yatai ended up signing a different Premier League striker as Odion Ighalo arrived from Watford – but that doesn’t appear to be the end of the interest in Hernandez’s signature.
Hernandez’s agent Pablo Bentancur has today told Tutto Mercato Web that Everton and West Bromwich Albion are both making requests over summer moves for Hernandez, with Everton potentially able to offer Hull loanee Oumar Niasse in a part-exchange deal.
Bentancur added that Hull wouldn’t sell in January, but with just over one year left on his contract, a summer move could be on the cards.
“We brought three proposals from China, one higher than the other, to Hull City with where he has only one year of the contract,” said Bentancur. “They would not sell him.”
“For the player from an economic point of view, it would be a great leap in quality. Changchun Yatai wanted Abel strongly. But we have so many requests for June, from Everton and West Brom,” he added.
