West Ham United overcame Southampton with relative ease this weekend.
West Ham United won 3-1 away to Southampton on Saturday courtesy of goals from Andy Carroll, Pedro Obiang and Mark Noble, rendering Manolo Gabbiadini’s early debut strike a mere consolation.
While Carroll continued his renaissance following his welcome return to full fitness, there were plenty of other reasons to be positive, although Hammers fans were torn when it came to the performance of winger Sofiane Feghouli.

The Algeria international struggled for game time at the start of the campaign but on recent evidence he seems set to make up for lost time at the London Stadium.
The game against Southampton saw Feghouli make his fourth successive league start for West Ham and he had another decent outing.

The winger still needs to add more goals and assists to his tally, with only two of the former and one of the latter since he moved to West Ham, but that will surely come in time.
After the match against the Saints we took to Twitter to see what West Ham fans thought of Feghouli’s latest performance and you can read a selection of what we found below, with some feeling he did well but others questioning his inclusion.
