Leeds United are going strong in the Championship at the moment and are in the running for the playoffs. The West Yorkshire outfit are currently fourth in the league table with 54 points from 29 matches.
A number of players are doing well, and one of them is Pablo Hernandez. The 31-year-old, who can operate as a winger or as an attacking midfielder, joined Leeds in the summer of 2016.

Hernandez has scored three goals and created 52 chances in 19 Championship appearances for Leeds so far this campaign. The former Swansea City man’s displays have impressed the Championship club’s Chief Executive Ben Mansford.

“Pablo is really important,” Mansford said on the West Yorkshire Derby Preview Special show on BBC Radio Leeds on Friday evening (broadcast from 6pm, February 3, 2017). “The fans have taken to him. He adds that bit of quality.
“You look at the balance he gave when we were not at our best (against Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park on Wednesday evening), but he showed his maturity in that game. He still wanted the ball.”

Leeds will return to action on Sunday afternoon when they take on Huddersfield Town away from home at the John Smith’s Stadium. It promises to be a very entertaining game of football.
