Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers signed up three new players during the January transfer window.
Glasgow Rangers boss Mark Warburton has admitted to the Scottish Sun that he would have loved to bring an expensive striker to Ibrox during the January transfer window.
Rangers brought in Emerson Hyndman and Jon Toral on loan last month, and their only permanent addition was Jak Alnwick, who signed from Port Vale.
Warburton has admitted that Rangers’ lack of finances, means that he is not able to get every player he wants.

“We can’t buy a £20million striker,” Warburton said.
“I would love to, but the club can’t be reckless in our spending.
“We have to be on solid financial ground.
“As boring as that may sound it’s what the club has to do.”
Warburton has faced heavy criticism at Rangers this week, after his side were beaten 4-1 by Hearts.

The Light Blues were awful against Hearts, with Warburton seemingly under pressure at Ibrox now.
Rangers are currently in second place in the Scottish Premiership table, but Aberdeen can move ahead of them if the Dons win their game in hand.
Warburton’s side are next in action at the weekend, when they take on Ross County, and they will be expected to pick up the three points.
