Everton came from behind to secure a 1-1 draw away at Stoke City, and Morgan Schneiderlin has spoken about the draw.

Morgan Schneiderlin has taken to Twitter to comment after making his first start for Everton in their midweek draw with Stoke City.

The Frenchman had featured in the Premier League clashes with Manchester City and Crystal Palace but it was the game at the Bet365 Stadium where Schneiderlin took a spot in the starting line-up for the first time.

And while Koeman may not have been overly happy with the result – the Toffees had to come from behind to earn a point against Mark Hughes’ men – he would undoubtedly have been delighted with what he saw from the 27-year-old.

Schneiderlin was perhaps Everton’s best player in the draw, and supporters will be hoping that it is a sign of things to come as it will surely help boost their chances of being able to close the gap to the top six.
