The former Whites star is happy with the two players who came in.
Former Leeds United striker Noel Whelan has told BBC Radio Leeds that he is pleased with the late signings of wingers Alfonso Pedraza and Mo Barrow.
Whites boss Garry Monk finally completed some January signings – after also making Pablo Hernandez’s loan move permanent – just hours before the close of the window.
He placed the late emphasis on improving Leeds’ options on the wings, by bringing in Spaniard Pedraza and Swansea man Barrow on loan deals until the end of the season.

Speaking before the Whites’ clash with Blackburn Rovers on Wednesday night, Whelan admitted that he was pleased to see the duo arrive at Elland Road.
Whelan said on BBC Radio Leeds: “I am happy with the two that came in – from what I’ve seen, Alfonso Pedraza is exciting, has pace and a good left foot, and Mo Barrow is similar.”
However, he did go on to suggest that the Whites may come to regret not being able to add another centre-forward to their attacking options.

Whelan added: “I would have quite liked to have seen an out-and-out striker come in. That’s the only one I’m disappointed in.
“Saying that, I think Barrow and Pedraza will have an impact.”
Neither Pedraza nor Barrow were involved on Wednesday night as the Whites travelled to Ewood Park.
