The Spanish winger is looking to win promotion with Leeds.

Leeds United have completed the signing of Spanish winger Alfonso Pedraza on deadline day, with the talented attacker joining on loan from Villa until the end of the season.

He arrives from Villarreal, after impressing on loan in Spain’s second tier with Lugo, and has the option to join on a permanent deal should Leeds earn promotion. The Yorkshire Evening Post reports that fee as being in the region of £8.5 million.

The talented winger, who has represented Spain at international level, will be looking to quickly impose himself on the Leeds first-team as they push for promotion to the Premier League.

Now the player has taken to Twitter to express his joy at completing the move.

He sent out this tweet highlighting his joy at joining up with such a historic club:

Pedraza has spent the first part of this season on loan at Segunda Liga side Lugo and he also had a heartfelt message for them:

Leeds did not register the player in time for the fixture with Blackburn Rovers tomorrow night, but he will be available for the weekend fixture against Huddersfield Town.

Hopefully he can have a big impact at Elland Road.
