The West Ham United vice-chairman comments on Tottenham Hotspur’s new stadium.
Tottenham Hotspur will move into a new stadium soon. The North London outfit are building one at the moment and will start using it in 2018. The 61,000-seat stadium will be the largest-capacity football club ground in London when it opens, according to BBC Sport.

It is quite an impressive venture from Tottenham, but not everyone is going gaga over it. West Ham United moved into the London Stadium at the start of the 2016-17 campaign, but it seems that their vice-chairman Karen Brady is not keen on Spurs’ new stadium.
In her football diary in The Sun, Brady wrote: “Three cheers for Spurs who announce that the crowd in their new stadium will be extra-loud due to acoustic technology involving an aluminium-lined, curved roof and padded seats.

“We didn’t consider such additions at the London Stadium. And, anyway, we like to think Hammers fans can make enough noise to raise our own spectacular roof.”
It seems to be a dig from Brady aimed at Tottenham. This is not the first time that the 47-year-old has made such remarks about Spurs’ new stadium. Back in November 2016, Brady criticised the prices of tickets at Tottenham’s new ground and compared them to those at the London Stadium.
“I am told season-ticket prices will double at Tottenham’s rebuilt ground, while at the London Stadium ours have hardly changed,” Brady wrote in her football diary in The Sun in November 2016. “We have 10,000 under-16s paying £99 and 8,000 adults paying £289. I wonder if Levy has plans to do something like this?”
Tottenham are third in the Premier League table at the moment with 46 points from 22 matches, while West Ham currently find themselves 10th in the standings with 28 points from 22 games.
