HITC Sport understands the Swansea man is set for a medical at Aston Villa tonight, as part of a swap deal for Jordan Ayew.
Swansea City defender Neil Taylor is due to undergo a medical at Aston Villa on Monday night ahead of his swap move with Jordan Ayew, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Villa and Swansea have agreed a swap deal between Taylor and Ayew with Villa receiving some money on top of Taylor for Ghana international Ayew.
Wales international Taylor has now been given the green light to travel to Birmingham to undergo a medical and hold talks with Villa boss Steve Bruce.

Taylor's future at Swansea had been uncertain following the recent arrival of Martin Olsson from Norwich with the Swedish international becoming first-choice left-back under Paul Clement.
Villa chief Bruce has been looking to bring in a new left-back since taking over Villa Park and he feels the deal to land Taylor plus money for Ayew is too good to turn down.
Taylor has made more than 150 appearances for Swansea since joining the club from Wrexham in 2010 and played a major role in helping them win promotion to the Premier League in 2011.
The 27-year-old has also established himself as a key man in Chris Coleman's Wales side, playing a crucial role in them reaching the semi-finals of Euro 2016.
