Southampton manager Claude Puel is reportedly keen to bolster his squad this month.
Reports emanating from France this morning suggest that Southampton are in advanced talks to sign Nice goalkeeper Mouez Hassen, according to French media outlet Nice Matin.
The Saints have struggled for consistency this season, and many of their fans believe that it is a necessity for Claude Puel to strengthen his squad over the next few days.

They currently sit in 11th position in the Premier League table, a full nine points adrift of the Europa League spots.
And Puel seems to be keen on increasing the competition for number one goalkeeper Fraser Forster, with Nice Matin reporting that the south coast club are deep in negotiations with Ligue 1 side Nice over a potential deal for their 21-year-old stopper.
Mouez Hassen
Hassen has been part of the senior setup at Nice since the summer of 2013, and has made 50 appearances for his club, so despite his tender years, he is already fairly experienced at playing at the highest level.
If Southampton do manage to get a deal for the France under-21 star over the line, it is unlikely that he would immediately be given a regular starting role at St Mary’s with the 28-year-old Forster entering the prime years of his career for a goalkeeper.
