Aston Villa tied up the signings of James Bree and Birkir Bjarnason today – and both players have taken to Twitter to react to their transfers.
After landing Sam Johnstone and Henri Lansbury earlier this month, Steve Bruce has made it four January signings by securing Bree and Bjarnason.

Right back Bree, 19, has come up through the ranks at Barnsley, and has become the latest Oakwell academy product to impress, following in the footsteps of Premier League stars John Stones and Mason Holgate.
The teenage defender has impressed this season, making 22 appearances for Paul Heckingbottom's side before leaving for Villa Park today, where he will compete with Alan Hutton for the right back spot in Bruce's side.

Shortly after Bree's arrival was confirmed, Villa also announced the signature of Basel midfielder Birkir Bjarnason in a deal that seemed to come completely out of nowhere.
Bjarnason, 28, was played all around Europe, from Norway with Viking and Bodo/Glimt to Belgium with Standard Liege, as well as two spells with Italian outfit Pescara either side of a stint with Sampdoria, before moving on to Switzerland with Basel in 2015.
The midfielder may be best known for his role in the Iceland side which impressed so much at Euro 2016, and he scored two goals at the tournament, against Portugal and France.
Both players will be looking to make an immediate impact at Villa Park, and the pair took to Twitter earlier today in order to post messages to fans after penning their deals with Villa.
Bree was excited to start a new chapter of his career, whilst Bjarnason says he is very happy to have signed for Aston Villa this afternoon.
