Tottenham Hotspur's Marcus Edwards has been out with an ankle injury since October.

Tottenham Hotspur youngster Marcus Edwards appears to be back in training, after his latest post on Instagram.

Edwards posted a picture of himself back in football boots again, after spending a lengthy time out injured.

The 18-year-old picked up an ankle injury back in October and he was initially expected to be out for a couple of months.

However, Edwards’ ankle injury has proven to take longer to heal than initially expected.

Edwards has been out for nearly three months now, but appears to be on the comeback to full healthy.

His return will be a boost for Spurs, as Mauricio Pochettino has previously spoken very highly of the England youth international.

Edwards had made his first senior appearance for Spurs prior to his injury, and seemed to be pushing for a place in the first-team squad.

Tottenham take on Wycombe Wanderers in the FA Cup at the weekend, but that match may come too soon for Edwards to feature in.
