Balague has claimed that the North London outfit are not looking to recruit the Spain Under-21 international.
The Sky Sports journalist has also claimed that Spurs tried to sign Isco from Real Madrid in the summer of 2016.
The 24-year-old attacking midfielder is not going to leave Madrid in the January transfer window, according to Balague, who has also claimed that Tottenham are not after him at the moment.
“Spurs don't want Sandro and although they tried for Isco in the summer they are not after him now and he is not going to leave,” Balague told Sky Sports.
Sandro joined Malaga in the summer of 2016 after leaving fellow Spanish club Barcelona at the end of the 2015-16 season.
With Vincent Janssen struggling in the Premier League, it would make sense for Tottenham to make a move for a player of Sandro’s quality, if not in January then in the summer transfer window.
