Tottenham Hotspur possess a multitude of young talent currently in and around the first-team squad.
When speaking to reporters, Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino responded to questions asking him why he does not loan out more of his young stars, in order for them to gain more first-team playing time, as quoted by local newspaper Barnet Today.
The Argentine has become renowned within the game for giving opportunities to talented youngsters, but there are still a plethora of players currently at Spurs, who have failed to break into the first-team setup.

Pochettino has allowed 19-year-old Shayon Harrison to leave on loan this month, with the striker joining Yeovil until the end of the season.
That move was in stark contrast to the general rule of thumb regarding his philosophy, however.
And the Tottenham boss explained his decision to keep the majority of the club’s young players in and amongst the first-team setup, rather than farming them out on loan, as quoted by Barnet Today:

“The best way to improve is training here with us. In that way we can give them the chance to play.”
There have been calls for the likes of Cameron Carter-Vickers, Kyle Walker-Peters and Marcus Edwards to be loaned out to help aid their development, but Pochettino obviously feels as though they have more chance of reaching their potential by staying at White Hart Lane.
