There were plenty more dodgy refereeing decisions over the weekend, as Hull City, Barnsley, Burnley, Wolves and Manchester City all looked to have been hard-done by on the penalty front.

But which refereeing decision shocked you the most over the weekend ? Take part in this HITC poll.

Neil Swarbrick – Hull City Penalty

Neil Swarbrick picked up some slack from pundits and Hull City fans alike on the weekend for his failure to give Hull a penalty for a clear foul on Abel Hernandez, despite looking straight at the incident.

Mike Dean – Barnsley v Leeds

Mike Dean also picked up some stick for awarding Leeds United a penalty against Barnsley, despite the fact the handball took place well outside the Barnsley box. From where he was stood, it certainly looked like the ref had absolutely no chance of seeing the incident. Dean also later claimed that the linesman made the decision even though he clearly kept his flag down.

Jon Moss – Arsenal v Burnley

Another last minute offside here, this time from Arsenal’s Laurent Koscielny, which led to the Gunners’ 98th minute winner. You’ve got to be sick as a parrot if you’re a Burnley fan.

David Coote – Norwich v Wolves

Wolves fans were reeling after Norwich were awarded a spot-kick, and keeper Carl Ikeme was sent off. The Wolves goalkeeper was sent off for a dubious foul on Wes Hoolahan, which saw Robbie Brady then restore Norwich’s lead from the spot.

Andre Marriner – Manchester City v Tottenham Hotspur

After a clear push on Manchester City’s Raheem Sterling from Tottenham’s Kyle Walker, referee Andre Marriner failed to give what seemed like an obvious penalty. The decision reignited the diving-debate among pundits, with some suggesting that the Manchester City star should have fallen to the floor in order to secure the penalty and make it easier for the referee to give.
