Pritchard only moved to Norwich City last summer but could be en route back to the Premier League with either Burnley or Swansea City.

Premier League sides Burnley and Swansea are considering moves for Norwich City attacking midfielder Alex Pritchard, according to the Sun.

Pritchard only moved to Carrow Road on a four-year deal from Tottenham Hotspur last August, but could already be en route back to the top flight – despite starting just six league games for his new employers.

Burnley were reportedly close to landing Pritchard a year ago, only for the 23-year-old to join West Bromwich Albion on loan instead.

The Clarets have been linked with moves for a string of wide players this month – notably Pritchard’s Norwich teammate Robbie Brady – although the former England under-21 star is also capable of filling that particular void.

Swansea, meanwhile, are reportedly at risk of losing Gylfi Sigurdsson and Wayne Routledge this month, which could explain their interest.

Pritchard’s former Spurs colleague Tom Carroll completed a move to the Liberty Stadium on Tuesday, hours after the arrival of Martin Olsson from Norwich.
