Which Birmingham players would fans not mind seeing the back of this month?
As the January transfer window passes the halfway mark, HITC Sport has put together a poll looking at the Birmingham players that perhaps some would not mind seeing move on this month. But before we give the fans the chance to vote, here is a look at the five contenders...
Birmingham's Diego Fabbrini in action with Blackburn's Danny Guthrie
Since Diego Fabbrini arrived at St Andrew's, he has struggled to make much of an impact for the Blues. With just two starts to his name this term, it would not be a surprise if Gianfranco Zola considered selling his countryman.
Paul Caddis has spent a significant period of time this season on the sidelines with injury, and previously struggled to break into Gary Rowett's team when he was fit. If his successor has a similar opinion about the utility man, it could be an extremely frustrating season for Caddis unless he moves on.
Birmingham’s Adam Legzdins looks dejected after Nottingham Forest’s second goal
Adam Legzdins is not a bad understudy to have, but he has been guilty of some glaring mistakes when given a chance, so Zola may not have too many qualms about letting him go should they receive an offer this month.
The club's Young Player of the Season last term has made three substitute appearances this year, playing for a combined total of just 14 minutes. If Zola sees some potential in the winger, he may deem a loan deal to be a good decision.
Greg Stewart of Brimingham City and Andy Yiadom of Barnsley in action
After a decent spell in the Scottish Premiership, Greg Stewart made the move to Birmingham last year. However, he is still awaiting his first goal or assist in the Championship despite making 15 appearances this season.
