Newcastle United are believed to be interested in signing Crystal Palace winger Andros Townsend.
Andros Townsend has ‘liked’ a post on Twitter, which asked whether Newcastle United should ‘bring him home’ to St. James’ Park this month.
Townsend left Newcastle to join Crystal Palace last summer, despite enjoying a wonderful run of form at St. James’ Park towards the back end of the 2015/16 campaign.
The England international scored four goals in 13 Premier League appearances for Newcastle, but following their relegation he decided that he wanted a move to Palace.
Since making the switch to Selhurst Park, Townsend’s form has not been particularly impressive.
The 25-year-old has not shown the best of his ability at the Eagles, and he is now struggling to hold down a place in their starting line-up.

The Chronicle have suggested that Newcastle are interested in bringing Townsend back to Tyneside.
And the winger’s social media activity seems to suggest that he would be open to a move.
At the moment, Crystal Palace are said to be holding out for a permanent transfer, while Newcastle want a loan deal (Daily Mail).
