The Stade Lavallois striker is French youth international who recently made his professional debut.

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing the talented French teenager Calvin Tshilumba from Stade Lavallois in the French second tier.

RMC Sport relays the information from the print edition of L’Equipe that Spurs are ready to make a move to sign the talented 17-year-old striker.

The report claims that he has already received a proposal from the Premier League side, who would bring him into the development team at Hotspur Way.

The France under-17 international has an impressive record with the French youth teams and this weekend made his debut for Laval in the Coupe de France against third-tier side Avranches - a game that Laval lost 3-1.

Tottenham already have plenty of talented young players in their ranks, including striking options. However, it appears that Tshilumba has become a strong target for the club after his recent impressive form at youth level and Tottenham remain on the hunt for top talent from around the globe.

Of course, they are also short up front in the first-team at present. Whilst it may be too early for the 17-year-old Frenchman to be considered for first-team action at Spurs, Tottenham will be hoping he is a star of the future and the interest is clearly an indication of that.
