Interest is growing in Biggleswade Town forward.
Non-league striker Inih Effiong is close to earning a big move, HITC Sport understands.
Effiong currently plays for Biggleswade Town in the Southern League Premier Division, and scored a hat-trick in their recent win over St Neots Town on Boxing Day.
Several scouts were in attendance and would have come away impressed with Effiong's contribution in the 5-0 win.
HITC Sport understands enquiries have come in for Effiong from a Scottish Premiership team, clubs in the Scottish Championship, as well as League Two clubs in England.
Currently one of these League Two sides is leading the chase for the signature of the 6 foot 3 striker, and Effiong could make a switch early this January.
Effiong, 25, has previously played for non-league sides Chesham United, Boreham Wood and St Albans City, and is currently in the form of his career.
He has 20 goals this season in the league, scoring more goals from open play than any other player in his division.
