Aston Villa would happily cash in on the Ghanaian.
Reports this week have been linking Aston Villa’s Ghanaian forward Jordan Ayew with a move to China in January.
The Mirror reported that teams in the Chinese Super League were interested in the player and that Aston Villa could be tempted into a sale because of the large sum of money they were likely to receive for his services from the money-rich competition.
Now it is reported by The Sun that it is Andre Villas-Boas’ Shanghai SIPG side that want Ayew – where he would join former Chelsea star Oscar. Villa would reportedly want £10 million for his services.

Ayew joined Aston Villa from Lorient in the summer of 2015 and suffered relegation with the club last season.
He remained with the club for this season but despite some good form at the start of the season he is now struggling to be a regular in the Villa side under the guidance of Steve Bruce.
Any sale will be tough to get pushed through however, with Ayew said to be unsure about a January exit.
Andre Villas Boas
It was reported in France, as relayed by Foot01, that Saint-Etienne are also interested in signing the player in the winter – where he would join fellow Villa loanee Jordan Veretout.
But Ayew is said to want to stay with Villa by that report, as he looks to focus on the African Cup of Nations with Ghana.
