Everton boss Ronald Koeman has told the Daily Mail that he is interested in signing Charlton Athletic striker Ademola Lookman – and the Mail claim that a £10million deal is close.
The Toffees claimed an impressive 2-0 win over Leicester City on Boxing Day, and manager Ronald Koeman will be hoping to put a run of results together after a tricky spell for the club.

January is likely to be an important month for Everton, as Koeman will be keen to make new signings – and one player appears to be closing in on a move to Goodison Park.
Charlton Athletic striker Ademola Lookman has starred for the Addicks since making his debut in November 2015, as he hit five goals in 24 appearances last season, whilst he's added seven goals in 25 games this term.

The 19-year-old – who can play out wide or up front – has impressed with his pace, and having been touted as one of the Football League's top young talents, he's already made seven appearances for England at youth level.
Now, the Daily Mail claim that Lookman is on the verge of a £10million move to Everton, with the deal 'all but done' ahead of the January transfer window opening.
Everton will seemingly add Lookman to their first-team squad immediately rather than loaning him straight back to Charlton for experience, and with rumours swirling, manager Koeman was asked about the situation today.
Koeman told the Daily Mail; “There is interest in the boy, yes,” when asked about Lookman, and just months after landing Dominic Calvert-Lewin from Sheffield United, it seems that Everton are set to add another young English forward from a League One club.
