Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers need players, but could they lose some?
Rangers boss Mark Warburton has rubbished reports that Matt Crooks could leave the club in Janaury.
Injury has limited the 22-year-old to just two Scottish Premiership matches this season.
Crooks, who joined Rangers along with former Accrington team-mate Josh Windass, was linked with a loan move away from Glasgow next month, according to The Scottish Sun.

But Gers boss Warburton, speaking to the club’s official YouTube channel, has thrown cold water on the reports and insisted that he has no idea where they emanate from.
“That’s up there with some of the great stories. I don’t know where it comes from. It’s about us looking at Rangers squad. We’re approaching a window and lots of itf and buts and maybes but if there’s something to tell we’ll say it.”

Crooks will be disappointed by his first six months at Ibrox but he could and should use Windass as inspiration.
The talented midfielder hasn’t always been fit himself, but he has looked like one of Rangers’ better players this season and he will hope that his mate Crooks can follow suit.
