Crystal Palace had been leading chase but Owls could now swoop instead
Championship promotion chasers Sheffield Wednesday have joined the chase to land Hednesford Town youngster Cohen Bramall, HITC Sport understands.
The 20-year-old left winger, who can also play full-back, had looked set to sign for Premier League Crystal Palace, having twice trained with the club and impressed hugely during his stint in South London.
But before a deal could be struck by the Eagles, Wednesday have made a move and are keen on Bramall.

HITC Sport understands that Bramall played for Wednesday’s under-23 side at Birmingham on Monday and was hugely impressive in a 2-0 win.
Bramall, who has also attracted interest from Wednesday’s neighbours Sheffield United, Norwich City, Shrewsbury Town and Plymouth, is now almost certain to make the move into the professional ranks early in the New Year.
Hednesford would not stand in Bramall’s way, but would be happy to cash in on their prized asset.
