Tony Pulis raves about West Brom star's training ground commitment

West Brom's Salomon Rondon celebrates scoring their third goal and completing his hat-trick

West Bromwich Albion striker Salomon Rondon scored a hat-trick in midweek as he continued his fine run of form.

Speaking to reporters during his pre-match press conference, Baggies boss Tony Pulis shared his delight at the recent form of Salomon Rondon, and praised his exceptional attitude towards training, as quoted by the Birmingham Mail.

The Venezuelan has scored four goals in his last five outings for West Brom, and has led the line admirably during the absence of Saido Berahino.

And Pulis explained how Rondon's dedication has been a major factor in his recent improvement in form, as quoted by the Birmingham Mail:

"You have to drag him in after training because he wants to practice and do things. He works with the different coaches every day on his finishing and touch. He’s been very good but he has to maintain it."

Pulis' men currently sit in seventh position in the Premier League table - a quite remarkable achievement, considering the fact that many pundits had predicted them to be struggling near the bottom of the table, after the club missed out on many of their prime transfer targets during the summer.

Next up for West Brom is a home game against Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday, and a victory for the hosts would take them within a point of the Red Devils.

And with the potential return of Berahino on the horizon, things are really starting to look up for the Baggies.
