The star man has been linked with a move away from West Ham.
The Frenchman was one of the stars of last season, first enjoying a stellar first campaign with the Hammers and then starring at Euro 2016 as France made it to the final of the competition.
That saw him linked with a move away from the club in the summer transfer window, with several European giants all suggested as potential destinations.
West Ham United's Dimitri Payet applauds the fans at the end of the match
Those rumours have continued in recent months, despite him struggling to replicate his form from last year.
The Hammers would loathe losing their star man but he insists that he is not even considering his future at this moment in time.
"I haven't asked myself the question yet," Payet told French outlet L'Equipe Sport & Style.
"It's still not the right time. Of course, I have ambitions, but I want to do things in order. There are periods that are made for asking yourself questions, and I'll do it at that moment.”
West Ham United's Dimitri Payet
West Ham will now be hoping that Payet doesn’t consider his future until at least next summer.
He is the undoubted star at the London Stadium and losing him in the January transfer window would be disastrous for Slaven Bilic’s team.
They are currently 15th in the table and just four points from the relegation zone and will need the Frenchman if they are fare better in the second half of the campaign.
