Jamie Redknapp has named on Skysports.com three Tottenham Hotspur players who always stand out for him.
The former Tottenham midfielder has named midfielder Mousa Dembele, striker Harry Kane and defender Toby Alderweireld as the three most important players for the North London outfit.
“When I look at Spurs, three players always stand out for me,” Redknapp wrote on Skysports.com. “The three players that are so important to the team in terms of the results and who are missed when they don't play are Moussa Dembele, Harry Kane and Toby Alderweireld.”
“They've struggled to get them on the pitch at the same time this season and that's been a problem. They are the players who could have turned some of those draws into wins. But now they're back, I think the results will start to come for Tottenham.”
Dembele is a very good midfielder and is a key player in the current Tottenham team.
The 29-year-old midfielder has been able to play in eight Premier League matches for Spurs so far this season.
The Belgium international is going to be an important figure for the North London outfit as the season progresses.
Kane is one of the best strikers in the Premier League and has scored seven goals in nine league games so far this campaign.
The England international is in good form at the moment, and the 23-year-old’s goals will be important.
As for Alderweireld, the Belgium international is easily one of the best centre-backs in the Premier League.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side are fifth in the league table at the moment with 27 points from 14 matches.
