Former Liverpool and Manchester United striker Michael Owen has predicted on Betvictor.com that West Bromwich Albion will lose to Hull City this weekend.

West Brom will take on Hull away from home at the KCOM Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Owen believes that the Tigers will lose the match and drop all three points.

“Hull have yet to lose at home to the Albion in the PL but the Baggies will never have a better chance of bucking that trend given the Tigers have now conceded 24 times in their last eight PL games,” Owen wrote on Betvictor.com.

“I thought the Baggies played well when winning at the King Power on their last away start, and they are likely to have too much for a Hull side who look to be fighting a losing battle to stay in the division.”

A footnote added: “Michael’s recommendation: West Brom to win at 31/20.”

Hull City caretaker manager Mike Phelan looks dejected

Hull are third from bottom in the Premier League table at the moment with just 10 points from 12 matches.

The Tigers are a point behind 17th-placed West Ham United and are in serious danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.

Mike Phelan’s side will head into the match against the Baggies on the back of a 3-0 defeat to fellow relegation candidates Sunderland away from home at the Stadium of Light.

Meanwhile, West Brom currently find themselves ninth in the Premier League table with 16 points from 12 matches.

Tony Pulis’s side will head into the game against the Tigers on the back of a 4-0 victory over Burnley at The Hawthorns in the league.
