Speaking to reporters ahead of his side's game against Chelsea tomorrow, Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino explained how he has plenty of options who can fill in at left-back, with both Danny Rose and Ben Davies unavailable for selection, as quoted by the club's official website.

Tottenham head to Stamford Bridge on Saturday already four points behind their London rivals, and will be without Rose through suspension and Davies who is yet to recover from an ankle knock.

Pochettino, who has endured heavy amounts of criticism in recent weeks, spoke to the media, and shared the potential solutions he has at his disposal in response to talk of a defensive injury crisis for this tomorrow's game, as quoted by

"Ben is still out, he is injured and Danny Rose is suspended. We played against Sunderland with Jan Vertonghen at full-back or we can play with Kieran Trippier on the left or we can play with Kevin Wimmer. We have different options to play."

The Argentine will be desperate for a positive result on Saturday, or at the very least, an energetic, high tempo display, to help ease the pressure that is beginning to build on him.

It is quite remarkable to think that Spurs are the only remaining unbeaten team in the Premier League, yet Pochettino still finds himself under such intense scrutiny because of a few poor results.

Playing Kevin Wimmer at left-back on Saturday will leave the door open for further criticism, should it back-fire on Pochettino, but he has never shied away from making bold decisions in the past.

Now is the time for another one to be made.
