Aston Villa’s new boss Steve Bruce will undoubtedly want to strengthen his squad in the winter and bring in some of his own players to the team.
He will also be looking to ship some out.
Here are three players Aston Villa should look to loan out in the New Year…
Aston Villa's Jordan Lyden
The Australian midfielder is all set to return from his knee injury in the coming weeks. He made his breakthrough at Villa Park last season but is unlikely to have a big impact on the Villa first-team at present.
Heading out on loan to a Championship rival or even abroad could help him regain his fitness and get some crucial playing time.

The winger is a top-rated talent at Villa but has only made a handful of substitute appearances in the Championship this season.
Some time out on loan could be of huge benefit to the 18-year-old.
The 18-year-old attacking midfielder has been in good form for the under-23s this season. He made it onto the bench at the tail-end of last season but playing first-team football looks unlikely at present.
Gaining some first-team experience on loan may be his best career move.
