Armenian starred for Manchester United in win over Feyenoord.
Manchester United's Henrikh Mkhitaryan in action with Feyenoord's Dirk Kuyt
For Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Thursday night was like his debut all over again - only with more pressure.
The Armenian was handed a rare opportunity against Feyenoord at Old Trafford and seized it, inspiring the Red Devils to a 4-0 win.
His last start came in the Manchester derby back on September 10, and despite a couple of minor injuries since, he has been omitted on a regular basis by manager Jose Mourinho, who signed him months earlier.
Mourinho gave him a chance to get back in favour against the Dutch side, and Mkhitaryan put in a display which said 'drop me if you dare'.

He did not get on the scoresheet but came close to doing so on a couple of occasions, and was lively throughout.
Mkhitaryan commented on Twitter after the game, sending a message to United fans, thanking them for their support.
United now have two games coming up against West Ham, in the Premier League and EFL Cup, and Mkhitaryan's inspiring performance may have earned him a start in at least one, if not both fixtures.
