The Real Madrid star has long been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur.
The play-maker has been linked with Tottenham Hotspur for quite some time, with the Mirror claiming the North London club were keen to bring the player to White Hart Lane in the summer.
While that move failed to materialise, the rumours keep coming, and now Balague has given Tottenham fans reasons to be hopeful once more.
“Isco has gone from considering a move to the Premier League to being offered a new contract at Real to again consider a move,” Balague wrote. “No decision made yet.”
While that in no way means the Spaniard is destined for Tottenham, they can at least hold out hope that they can still secure a deal for a player who would considerably improve their attacking options.
The 24-year-old has a contract at Real until the summer of 2018 yet soon there will only be 18 months left on that deal and they will not want to risk him running it down and leaving for nothing.
He has scored 31 goals and provided 31 assists in 179 La Liga matches to date and this rumour looks like it is going to run and run with the January transfer window fast approaching.
