Leicester have booked their place in the next round of the competition after winning 2-1 at the King Power Stadium.
Claudio Ranieri's men went into the game having suffered yet another blow during their defence of the Premier League title as they lost 2-1 to Watford at the weekend to leave them 16 points off top spot and just two points above the bottom three.
However, they did not let their domestic form get them down as they beat the Belgian side to guarantee that they will move into the knockout stages of the competition having won Group G.
Shinji Okazaki opened the scoring inside the first five minutes, before Riyad Mahrez doubled their lead from the penalty spot on the half-hour mark.
And while Brugge would set up a nervous second-half by scoring seven minutes after the break, the Foxes would hold on to move five points clear at the top of their group.
