There's a reason so many neutrals have a soft spot for Arsenal and this intuitive playmaker is the living emodiment.
From Mesut Ozil’s mesmeric control to Alexis Sanchez’s classic chips, Arsenal are hardly lacking in the ‘tekkers’ department.
However, Alex Iwobi’s pick as the most skilful player in The Gunners ranks will raise a few eyebrows. After all, Santi Cazorla has reinvented himself in recent seasons from a goalscoring number 10 to a hard-working, deep-lying playmaker who’s ability to press and win possession back for his side has become as essential as his sharp dribbling ability.
Yet, the Spaniard’s natural two-footedness has left more than a few defenders dazed and confused since he arrived on the English stage from Malaga in 2012, and Iwobi admits that the impish 31-year-old has left him in awe on countless occasions.
“[Cazorla] uses his left and right foot,” Iwobi gushed, according to The Sun. "The ability he has on the ball is crazy sometimes.
"He pulls off crazy skills in training and you can see his technique in matches is just amazing."
Iwobi recently became a viral sensation when he left a poor, bedraggled defender for dead with a sublime rainbow flick in a recent international for Nigeria.
After all, that’s the kind of ability you inherit when you’re uncle is Jay Jay ‘so good they named him twice’ Okocha.
And witnessing the likes of Cazorla, Sanchez and Ozil up close on a daily basis will certainly teach the talented forward a thing or two, with the diminutive Spanish schemer’s mix of efficiency and flair making him a firm favourite among fans, neutrals and team-mates alike.
