The reach of potential Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani is truly global.

It is well established at this point that Andrea Radrizzani is in talks to take over Championship club Leeds United.

Italian newspaper Calciomercato and The BBC have both reported the news, while the man himself has offered numerous hints on Twitter, as HITC reported earlier this week.

Any takeover is an exciting time, but considering Radrizzani's truly global reach, he may just be the most well connected man in football.

Radrizzani, as many Leeds fans may know already, co-owns the MP & Silva sports rights firm, which sells Serie A, Bundesliga, Formula One and NFL rights around Europe.

The firm also sell the rights of Premier League football around the globe, as stated on MP & Silva's website, from New Zealand to Indonesia, to Ukraine.

His work was praised by Premier League chief executive Richard Scudamore, who stated in 2013: "We know MP & Silva well as they have acquired other Premier League rights for the 2013-2016 period, and in previous seasons. We are pleased to be working with them again."

Radrizzani's firm also manages the distribution of Arsenal's in house and external media channels, with the potential Leeds guru quoted on the Gunners' website discussing the deal in 2010, which has since been extended and is ongoing.

The group were taken over this year by Chinese investors, and Radrizzani holds the title of president of Baofeng Sport International. The firm intend to tap into Virtual Reality technology, in conjunction with sporting events, while promoting football in China.

Whether they are behind the Leeds takeover, as a similar Chinese firm were with Inter Milan, a deal Radrizzani brokered for Suning International, is yet to be established.

The group's work extends to AC Milan's in house channel, while the firm have offices in the USA, and sell rights to sporting events also in South America and the Pacific Islands.

With Radrizzani personally involved in dealings with the Premier League, Serie A, Bundesliga, Arsenal, AC Milan, and Inter Milan, along with the Chinese investment, Leeds United may just be about to benefit from the input of football's most well connected business figure.

Whatever the future may hold on the pitch, it appears Leeds are set to fall into very capable and sensible hands off it.
