David Henen joined Everton on a permanent basis last summer.
Everton forward David Henen has rejected a five-year contract extension and wants to leave Goodison Park in January, as reported by The Star.
The 20-year-old joined Everton on a three-year deal last summer after impressing then-manager Roberto Martinez following a season-long loan on Merseyside in the 2014-15 campaign.
The Belgium Under-19 ace joined Fleetwood Town on loan last November, but his spell at Highbury was mutually terminated in April after netting once with the League One side.

Ronald Koeman replaced Martinez as Toffees manager in the summer but Henen – who has made three Under-23 appearances this season – remains nowhere near the first team it would seem and is yet to be named in a match-day squad under the Dutch boss.
Nevertheless, The Star, quoting sources in France, claim that Koeman offered Henen a new five-year deal, but the youngster is determined to leave the Premier League side this winter.

Tuttomercatoweb reported last month that a move to France was on the cards, claiming Nice and Toulouse are keen on signing Henen.
But The Star went on to suggest that Lille are confident of securing his signature.
Earlier this afternoon, however, the Liverpool Echo reported that Everton had no intention of selling Henen.
