Scott Sinclair believes that Celtic would be well served by signing Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard.
Scott Sinclair has suggested that he would love to see Steven Gerrard join him at Celtic.
Gerrard is set to leave LA Galaxy in the near future, and there have been suggestions that Celtic could sign the experienced midfielder.
Brendan Rodgers knows Gerrard well, after the pair spent time at Liverpool together earlier in their respective careers.
And Sinclair believes that Gerrard’s arrival at Celtic would be huge for Bhoys supporters and players alike.
Celtic are currently the bookies’ favourites to sign Gerrard, but it is unlikely that they would be able to sign the 36-year-old without facing competition.
There have also been claims that Gerrard could return to Liverpool in some capacity.
During his time in America, Gerrard made 38 appearances for the Galaxy and scored five times.
If Gerrard did move to Celtic he would be on course to win his first ever league title, as Rodgers’ side are currently 10 points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership table.
