Newcastle have a handful of youngsters that seemingly have the potential to make a big impact for the first-team in the near future.
In the latest instalment looking at the hottest prospects coming through at certain clubs according to Football Manager 2017, here is a look at the brightest teenagers currently trying to make the grade at Newcastle United.
Newcastle United's Freddie Woodman during the warm up
Freddie Woodman (GK)
The 19-year-old is yet to make his debut for the Newcastle first-team, but has gained some experience having enjoyed a loan spell with Crawley last season. While FM 2017 tips Woodman for a very bright future, he does face a difficult challenge trying to force his way into Rafael Benitez's side given the depth they already boast between the sticks.
Gideon Adu-Peprah (LB)
The 18-year-old is also still awaiting the chance to make his first-team debut, but Football Manager 2017 is optimistic about his prospects. The defender's strongest attribute currently is his tackling, for which he is rated 13 out of 20 already.
Newcastle United's Adam Armstrong in action
Adam Armstrong (ST)
Like Woodman, Armstrong is perhaps unlucky to find himself so far down the pecking order, but it is, once again, an indication of the talent that Newcastle boast going forward. The 19-year-old - who is currently on loan with Barnsley - has been impressive so far in his career, and FM 2017 suggest that he has the potential to become a five star player.
