Tottenham Hotspur’s Danny Rose and Kyle Walker are set to start for England against Scotland.

According to a report in the Daily Mail, England’s medical staff are confident that both Tottenham Hotspur defenders, Danny Rose and Kyle Walker, will be fit enough to start for the Three Lions tonight.

Rose and Walker both seemed to be suffering with knocks when Tottenham played Arsenal in the North London derby last weekend.

The full-backs both had to receive treatment, and visibly were in pain during the derby contest.

However, England’s medical staff have been pleased with the way that Walker and Rose have recovered over the week.

Gareth Southgate is now set to play the Tottenham pair from the off against Scotland this evening.

Southgate feels that Rose and Walker are important players in his starting line-up, as they provide great dynamism going forward.

Tottenham will be hoping that Rose and Walker may it through the match later this evening unscathed, as Mauricio Pochettino’s side have an important contest with West Ham United once the international break finishes.
