Leeds United registered a narrow 3-2 victory over Norwich City away from home in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.
Robbie Brady’s deflected header in the 24th minute saw Norwich take the lead at Carrow Road.
Pontus Jansson headed home Pablo Hernandez's corner to restore parity for the West Yorkshire outfit on 57 minutes.
Chris Wood made it 2-1 to Leeds in the 74th minute, but it looked like the game will end in a 2-2 draw when Kyle Lafferty scored for the home team in the 88th minute.
The 29-year-old Northern Ireland international forward celebrated his goal with gusto, but Ronaldo Vieira scored the winner for Leeds in injury time.
Following the match, Leeds winger Dallas, who is 25 years of age and also plays for the Northern Ireland national football team, sent the following message to Lafferty on Twitter:
Leeds are sixth in the Championship table at the moment with 26 points from 16 matches, a point and a place behind Norwich.
The Whites did not start the season strongly, but Garry Monk’s side are in great form at the moment and are now genuine contenders for the playoffs.
